Visiting SUMA

Yesterday 8/6, professor Jason took us to SUMA to visit the exhibition called
Al Farrow: Wrath & Reverence.
This exhibition I took pictures of was Menorach VI, 2008. It was made of steel, guns, and bullets, 35*37*15 in. Collection of Laura Lee Brown and Steve Wilson, 21c Museum Hotels.
From illustration, I knew the candles were put into guns. In my opinion, when we pray for some events, we need to emblaze the candles to express the emotion of missing. At first, if I didn't look at the tour guide magazine, I didn't know the candles were put on the gun. I think the artist wants to express dissatisfied with war and want to be a peaceful world. It also expressed pray to the people who died in the war. We should treasure the current peace because it is exchanged by countless lives. At the same time, we need to treasure current life and live.
